On February 25, the Swedish Armed Forces intercepted a suspicious Russian UAV that approached a French nuclear-powered aircraft carrier docked in Malmö during major NATO exercises, according to reports.
The French Navy’s flagship, the battleship Charles de Gaulle, was visiting the southern Swedish port as part of the LA FAYETTE 26 mission.
The exercises brought NATO naval forces to the Baltic Sea region at a time of rising tensions with Moscow.
