Green Party wins Gorton and Denton by-election, pushing Labour into third place

Reform UK’s Matt Goodwin came second with 10,578, while Labor Party’s Angeliki Stogia came third with 9,364. The Conservative Party’s Charlotte Cadden came fourth with 706 votes (the party’s worst byelection result to date) while the Liberal Democrats’ Jackie Pearcey received 653 votes. No other party received more than 200 votes.
