Zack Polanski breaks silence on cheating claims with Nigel Farage swipe | Politics | News

Election watchdog group Volunteers for Democracy warned they witnessed “worryingly high levels” of family votes in the vote, which saw Reform come second and Labor a clear third. Green leader Mr Polanski responded to a question about the allegations on Sky News: “Nigel Farage is a complete loser and has just lost the election badly.
“But I think the more important point is that Manchester City Council, which is clearly independent on this issue, has been really clear that there was no impropriety.
“Police officers were at every polling station and there was no evidence of anything negative.
“So in effect, Reform is once again spreading misinformation and smears, and the press and media appear to be repeating them.”
Emphasizing that the allegations came from Democracy Volunteers, Polanski added: “Who are Democracy Volunteers? I don’t think anyone had heard of Democracy Volunteers until yesterday.
“Manchester City Council has made it clear there was no impropriety, so why are we still having this conversation?”
Family voting is an illegal practice where people force family members to vote a certain way.
Speaking after the election results, Farage said: “This election was a victory for sectarian voting and fraud.
“Matt Goodwin was a great candidate for us. The election starts on May 7. It will be goodbye to Starmer and goodbye to the Tory party.”
