Plymouth double decker buses crash with several injured including ‘toddler’ | UK | News

Many people were injured in an accident involving two double-decker buses in Plymouth. The collision occurred on Exeter Street at around 12.50pm on Thursday, February 26, prompting emergency services to attend the scene.
Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue said there were 10 people on the buses at the time of the incident. Devon and Cornwall Police confirmed the injuries but said they were all minor. The Daily Express has also contacted the ambulance service to confirm the details.
A statement from Devon and Cornwall Police said: “We were called to Exeter Street in Plymouth at around 12.50pm on Thursday 26 February following reports of a collision involving two buses. The ambulance service also attended. “Many people were slightly injured.”

Photos from the scene show that the collision involved a double-decker Stagecoach bus and a red, double-decker Go-Ahead bus.
A spokesperson for Go-Ahead Southwest said: “At 12.40pm on February 26, a shuttle bus was involved in a vehicle-on-vehicle collision on Exeter Street. All passengers and the driver were assessed before leaving the scene. Police and ambulance services attended the scene. We are working with authorities on their investigation.”
The South West Ambulance Service could not confirm whether a child was among those injured. A spokesman said: “We were called to a road traffic accident in Plymouth at 12.48pm on Thursday 26 February. We sent a double ground ambulance and an operations officer to the scene. We transported a patient to the Cumberland Center by road ambulance.”
