Dubai Airport LIVE: Iran launches drone strikes on UAE | World | News

While Dubai International Airport was evacuated due to the “incident”, Iran continues its retaliatory attacks. Many countries in the Middle East, including the UAE, were targeted by Iranian missiles and drones on Saturday following the launch of the joint US-Israeli Operation Epic Fury. The shocking scene circulating on social media shows people at Dubai International Airport quickly walking towards safety, while other clips show people injured and with blood on their faces.

Dubai Airports confirmed there was an “incident” at Dubai International Airport tonight but did not confirm whether the air hub was targeted by an Iranian attack or by shrapnel. In the statement shared by the organization on X, it was said: “Dubai Airports confirmed an incident a few minutes ago at Dubai International Airport (DXB). Emergency response teams were immediately activated and the incident is being handled in coordination with the relevant authorities.” The incident resulted in four injuries, officials added. The statement continued: “They were provided with the necessary emergency medical assistance. Updated information will be published as soon as it is received.”

Early on Saturday, the United States and Israel launched an attack on Iranian targets, including Ayatollah Ali Khamenei’s compound. Tonight, Mr. Trump claimed that the Iranian leader, who has not been seen today, died in the attacks. Iran has so far denied that Khamenei is dead.
