Zimbabwe vs South Africa T20 match: Delhi traffic advisory, road closures, parking and taxi pick-up points announced

Heavy traffic is expected in and around the stadium area, especially at Bahadurshah Zafar Marg and ITO Chowk. Passengers traveling from New Delhi Railway Station are advised to consider possible congestion.
ZIM vs SA: Affected roads and diversions
Traffic movement can be regulated or directed in the following areas:
JLN Marg from Rajghat to Delhi Gate and R/A Kamla Market (both carriageways)
Asaf Ali Road from Turkman Gate to Delhi Gate
Bahadurshah Zafar Marg, Delhi Gate to Ramcharan Aggarwal Chowk (both carriageways)
Diversions and restrictions may be imposed on Bahadurshah Zafar Marg and JLN Marg if necessary. Except for emergency vehicles, vehicles may be directed in another direction depending on the traffic situation.
Heavy vehicles will not be allowed on Bahadurshah Zafar Marg from Daryaganj and Asaf Ali Road from Guru Nanak Chowk. No vehicles will be allowed to park on Ring Road (both carriageways) from Bahadurshah Zafar Marg, JLN Marg and Rajghat to IP Flyover. Vehicles found to be parked illegally will be towed and legal action will be initiated in accordance with the law.

Designated pick-up and drop-off points have been identified to facilitate the movement of app-based taxi services around the stadium.

Passengers using app-based taxi services are advised to coordinate with drivers in advance and follow the instructions of traffic personnel assigned to these locations.
Parking arrangements for the ZIM-SA match
There is no public parking near the stadium, except for limited space for tagged vehicles. A valid parking sticker is required on the windshield. The driver’s or owner’s vehicle number and mobile phone number must be written on the label. Vehicles without valid parking stickers will not be allowed near the stadium.
Labeled parking spaces are as follows:
P-1: JP Park (Opposite Gate 3) – Four-wheelers
P-2: Vikram Nagar Car Park (adjacent to Shahidi Park) – Four wheelers
P-3: Near JJB/Prayas Office — Two-wheelers
P-4: GLNS School (Deaf and Dumb School) — Next to JJB/Prayas Office
Entry into the tagged car park will be allowed only from the Vikram Nagar section on Bahadurshah Zafar Marg near Shahidi Park.
Free parking is also available at Mata Sundari Road, Rajghat Power House Road and Velodrome Road. A free park and ride facility will operate from these places to the stadium.
Major intersections likely to witness congestion include Gate No. 2 near Maulana Azad Medical College on Bahadurshah Zafar Marg (carriage road from ITO to Delhi Gate) and Rajghat Chowk.
Delhi Traffic Police has asked motorists to be patient, follow traffic rules and cooperate with personnel on duty at major junctions to ensure smooth movement.
