Retaliations continue on day two of US-Israel attacks on Iran

US President Donald Trump warned in a statement published on Truth Social that “there will likely be more US casualties” during operations in Iran. This comes after US Central Command (Centcom) said three US soldiers were killed in action and five were “seriously injured”.

Nine people were killed in a missile attack on the Israeli city of Beit Shemesh, according to medical services.

Meanwhile, at least 153 people, including children, died after an attack on a school on Saturday, Iranian officials said. Iran blamed the US and Israel. While Centcom stated that it was reviewing reports about the incident, the Israeli army said that it was “not aware” of any IDF operations in the region.

The UAE said three people had been killed in Iranian attacks since Saturday, while one person was reported killed in Kuwait.
