There are a few things a country must do before starting a war, and before the U.S.-Israeli strikes on Iran over the weekend, the Trump administration failed to do any of them.

The UN Security Council did not allow any military action.

The concept of preemptive self-defense that the US claimed was bombing Iran was this: Relies on extremely narrow space Conditions requiring the threat to be “immediate, overwhelming, and leaving no means available.”
