M6 traffic LIVE: Chaos on motorway as lanes shut down | UK | News
Motorists on the M6 have faced rush hour chaos after a lorry dumped its load on the M6. Three out of four lanes on the M6 between junctions J14 and J15 were closed. For this reason, long queues formed during rush hours.
A representative from National Highways said: “Lane closures are in place. Please allow extra journey time as this morning may cause lengthy delays.” Later in the morning the organization added: “Allow extra journey time as this morning is likely to cause lengthy delays. Lanes 1,2 and 3 (4) are closed on the M6 north J14 (Stafford) to J15 (StokeOnTrent) due to a HGV spilling its load of offal onto the main road. Traffic Officers are on scene with specialist contractors to begin clean-up efforts.”
