POCSO Accused Attacks Police During Spot Inspection Near Manipal

UDUPİ: A 29 -year -old man was allegedly trying to attack the police staff during a study near Manipal on Saturday evening. Police immediately suppressed the defendants who are currently receiving treatment at the UDUPİ Regional Hospital.

According to the police, on July 8, under the 74 and 3 (5) sections of the BNS, the female police station in UDUPI was recorded in the 7, 8, 9 (m) (n) (n) (n) and 10 of the POCSO Law.

The defendant Mohammad Danish (29), who was born in Moradabad in Uttar Pradesh and currently living in Manipal’s Vice President Nagar, was arrested on 12 July in connection with the case. During the investigation, the police took him to the alleged crime scene near the 2nd Cross for a Mahazar (Spot examination) for a Mahazar (Spot examination).

In this process, it was claimed that Denmark pushed the police officer Ritesh to the ground and tried to attack a laterite stone. Inspector Ramachandra Nayak intervened, but Danish tried to attack him. The police then used a Baton to suppress the defendants and hit him on his leg. Other officers at the scene managed to hold him and detain him.

Both the civil servant and Denmark were subjected to injuries during friction and were admitted to the Regional Hospital for treatment. Police said more investigations continued.
