Bryan Fuentes Gramajo, 24, was arrested around 2:40 a.m. in the Rosemont–La Petite-Patrie borough, at the request of SPVM Major Crimes investigators.

Fuentes Gramajo, originally from Montreal and linked to the emerging Zone 43 gang according to our sources, was at the top of the BOLO program’s list of most wanted individuals in Canada. This program aims to support police forces in their communication efforts about the most wanted fugitives, using new technologies. A bounty of up to $100,000 was offered for information leading to his capture.

Fuentes Gramajo is due to appear at the Montreal courthouse on Thursday to be charged with the murder of Kashif Jamal Bentley-Jean, aka Lil Bentley, rapper and gang member, who was shot and killed on July 17, 2025 in the parking lot of a Yorkdale shopping center. The accused will then be transferred to the Toronto area to face justice in Ontario.

Lil Bentley was suspected by gang circles of having killed, two weeks earlier, Cédrick Bélizaire, an influential member of the Montreal North Pop Team, during a party held on a boat which degenerated into a fight in a park in Brossard, on the South Shore of Montreal.

“The SPVM is pleased to have contributed to the criminal investigation led by our partners at the Toronto Police Service, by arresting Bryan Fuentes Gramajo on our territory,” declared Commander Mélanie Dupont, of the Major Crimes Section, in a press release.

Another individual, Bradley Nicolas-Lucate, was arrested last August and charged with the murder of Kashif Jamal Bentley-Jean. A final suspect, a Montreal gang member, Jimmy Prudent, is still wanted and is believed to be outside the country.

The SPVM is taking advantage of the arrest of Fuentes Gramajo to relaunch an appeal to the population in order to find Dylan Denis, an alleged murderer who is also part of the BOLO program’s list of most wanted criminals in Canada.

Dylan Denis has been wanted for murder since 2024.

Denis, 28, is suspected of having participated in the murder of Christopher-Shawn Jean Vilsaint, another rapper nicknamed Dirty S, which occurred in the borough of Ahuntsic–Cartierville on May 14, 2024. A bounty of up to $100,000 is offered by the BOLO program for his capture. Two other individuals have already been arrested by SPVM investigators for this crime.

“We are convinced that there are citizens who have information that would be very useful to our criminal investigation aimed at arresting Dylan Denis. Anyone with information about him can contact 911 or go to a neighborhood station,” underlined Commander Dupont.
