Prabhas, Mahesh Babu and Jr NTR Miss Vijay–Rashmika Reception

Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna’s wedding celebrations became one of the most talked about celebrity events of the year. Many well-known names from the film industry attended the grand ceremony and reception, making it a star-studded gathering. However, despite the large turnout, the event also saw a long list of unremarkables, sparking debate among fans on social media.

It was stated that Prabhas, Mahesh Babu and Jr NTR were among the prominent names who could not attend the reception due to prior commitments. Mahesh Babu’s wife Namrata Shirodkar and daughter Sitara Ghattamaneni attended the reception and conveyed their best wishes to the couple on his behalf.

Interestingly, Prabhas could not attend the celebrations despite playing a small role in Vijay Deverakonda’s film Kalki 2898 AD. Meanwhile, Jr NTR, who gave his voice in the trailer of Vijay’s upcoming film Kingdom, was another big name missing from the event.

Other absentees included Nandamuri Balakrishna, Siddhu Jonnalagadda, Ram Pothineni, Vishwak Sen, Varun Tej, Sai Dharam Tej, Nithiin and Kiran Abbavaram.

Actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu was also noticeably absent. Many people who had worked with Vijay Deverakonda before were expecting him to join the celebration.

Meanwhile, Naga Chaitanya’s wife Sobhita Dhulipala was also not present at the reception. Even though she had not worked with Vijay before, many expected her to accompany her husband to the event.

Fans also noticed that some of Rashmika Mandanna’s Bollywood co-stars like Ranbir Kapoor, Salman Khan and Sidharth Malhotra were also not there. Their absence surprised many, especially due to reports stating that they were not actively filming at the time as Battle of Galwan was currently in post-production and Love & War was on a temporary hiatus.
