Security Guards Clash In Kakinada One Town Area

KAKINADA: A clash broke out between two security guards in Kakinada’s One Town area, which later turned into an argument between two unions.

According to One Town police, security guard K. Raju complained to his colleague, a female security guard, about her husband’s behavior. However, he got angry and informed other security guards who were his relatives.

7 people attacked Raju who was suffering

. Female security guard Ramalakshmi tried to calm the attackers but was injured in the scuffle.

Raju lodged a complaint with the One City Police and a case was registered under the SC, ST Prevention of Atrocities Act, said department inspector M. Naga Durga Rao.

Following the clashes, CITU claimed that the AITUC had engineered the clash as part of its false propaganda against the CITU.

CITU convener M. Venkata Ramana said their union was fighting for the welfare of security guards at GGH in Kakinada, which was not to the liking of AITUC.
