Inevitably we all forget to buy something very important when the shops are closed. Don’t get caught out this Easter.
Major supermarkets will all have different opening times throughout the period, with different sized stores leading to different closing times. But don’t let forgetfulness ruin your vacation; Here are the opening times of all major supermarkets, so you can rush to grab that essential frying ingredient or missing Easter egg.
On Good Friday and Holy Saturday, Lidl supermarkets will be open from 8am to 10pm. All shops will be closed on Easter Sunday. On Easter Monday, shops will be open from 9am to 9pm.

On Good Friday, most Tesco stores will be open from 6am until 10pm. Extra and Express stores will continue their normal working hours. All shops will be closed on Easter Sunday. Department stores in Scotland will maintain normal opening hours. On Easter Monday, most stores will be open from 8am to 6pm.
On Good Friday, Morrisons stores will be open from 7am to 10pm. All stores will be closed on Easter Sunday except in Scotland, which will open as normal. On Easter Monday, most stores will be open from 7am to 8pm.
Sainsbury’s has not yet confirmed opening hours. Express has contacted Asda, The Co-op and Waitrose to confirm opening hours.
