Donald Trump wore an ashen expression as he stepped off Air Force One to welcome home six US soldiers killed in the ongoing conflict with Iran. The President was photographed arriving at Dover Air Force Base in Delaware with Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth as the fallen soldiers were prepared to be taken to their final resting places.
Trump joined the families of Nicole Amor (39), Cody Khork (35), Robert Marzan (54), Jeffrey O’Brien (45), Noah Tietjens (42) and 20-year-old Declan Coady, who returned to US soil. Six soldiers killed in Kuwait are transported to the morgue before resting. “They will return home from Iran differently than they thought they would,” the US President said at a summit in Florida on Saturday morning, March 7. He added: “They are great heroes in our country.”
As reported by Daily MailRepublican Senator and veteran Joni Ernst said the United States owes soldiers “an incredible debt of gratitude that can never be repaid.” He added: “These soldiers were performing the noblest of duties: protecting their fellow Americans and keeping our homeland safe.”
Meanwhile, Trump warned that more Americans could lose their lives as the war intensifies in the Middle East. Since being attacked last week, Iran has retaliated harshly by launching missiles and drone attacks on American bases in the region.

The US President vowed on Saturday to step up his bombing campaign against Iran. “Iran is no longer the ‘Tyrant of the Middle East’, but rather the ‘Loser of the Middle East’,” he said in a post on Truth Social.
The Republican added that the US military would increase attacks. In addition to his demand for “unconditional surrender”, he also shared: “Iran will be hit very hard today!”
More than 1,300 Iranian civilians are estimated to have been killed in airstrikes last week. Meanwhile, a spy report leaked by the National Intelligence Council warned that continued US military action could result in disaster.

Declan Coady, the youngest of the soldiers killed, said his son was “one of the nicest soldiers”. [sic] people you’ll meet.” And he added: “He would do anything and everything for anyone.”
Cody Khork’s family remembered him as ‘the man of the party’ with an ‘infectious spirit’ and a ‘generous heart.’
