AP CM Chandrababu Distributes Pattadar Passbooks In Dhone

– Nandyal: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu on Monday attended the distribution of newly minted pattadar passbooks (land documents) at Kotha Buruju village in Nandyal district as part of the state government’s Mee Bhoomi – Mee Hakku (Your Land – Your Right) program aimed at strengthening farmers’ land ownership rights.

The program aims to provide legally secure land ownership documentation and prevent manipulation of records, while ensuring transparent governance for farmers across the state.

During a public meeting at the village in Dhone constituency, the Chief Minister personally helped several villagers digitally record their thumb prints. He had previously inspected a few stalls of horticultural produce at the venue and learned from farmers that covering the fruit with lids fetched a better price. Officials explained that the use of fruit covers helps improve the quality of the produce, which in turn brings better market prices. Naidu directed officials to create more awareness about this practice among farmers by examining fruits with and without protective coating.

He instructed officials to promote high-value crop varieties that yield better profits and also instructed officials to take measures to improve groundwater levels. He reiterated the target of issuing over 60 lakh outstanding passbooks by December 2027 and preparing error-free land records in every village in Andhra Pradesh.
