Kyle Sandilands and Jackie O may not be finished yet as KIIS FM radio duo reportedly talking again

Australia’s most famous radio partnership may not be over after all.

Just days after the dramatic collapse of the Kyle and Jackie O Show, Kyle Sandilands and Jackie “O” Henderson are reportedly talking again and may consider returning to radio together.

according to Daily TelegraphInsiders claim the pair “have been talking and want to do radio again”, raising the possibility of a shocking reunion following last week’s spectacular on-air clash and sudden split.

The pair ended their 25-year partnership after Henderson announced he could no longer work with Sandilands, bringing an abrupt end to one of Australian broadcasting’s most lucrative deals.

The development follows a tense on-air row in which Sandilands accused her long-time presenter of losing focus.

“You’re with the fairies, you’re unfocused, you don’t care…everyone in this building has told me about it,” Sandilands said after bringing up the topic of zodiac signs.

“It’s affecting other things. Your obsession with this has almost left you unable to work.”

The criticism left Henderson visibly shaken.

“I’m completely offended that you would say something like that… It’s so unfair,” she replied, her voice breaking as she fought back tears.

Following the clash, Sandilands was issued a breach notice saying management’s behavior constituted “serious misconduct” and giving him 14 days to resolve the issue.

Shortly afterwards, ARN notified the stock exchange that the partnership had effectively ended.

“ARN Media Limited (ASX: A1N) has announced that Ms Jacqueline Henderson has advised that she is ‘unable to continue working with Mr Kyle Sandilands’,” the statement said.

“Accordingly, ARN has terminated its service agreement with Henderson Media Pty Ltd under which Ms Henderson presented the Kyle and Jackie O show.

“Ms. Henderson will cease hosting Kyle and Jackie O’s show. ARN has also offered Ms. Henderson the opportunity of an alternative program on the ARN network.”

Henderson later disputed reports that he had left the programme, insisting that he had not resigned.

In a statement made by his manager Gemma O’Neill, he said: “Over the last few days, there has been a lot of speculation and misinformation regarding my departure from the series. I want to make an important point very clearly: I have neither resigned nor resigned.”

“I was deeply saddened by the events of last week and the possibility of the series ending. This was a shock for me, like everyone else.”

“The current media narrative does not reflect what is actually happening and it was truly heartbreaking to see how this came out.

“I cannot say anything further at this stage as I am dealing with the matter through the appropriate legal channels.

“Thank you to everyone who has sent kind messages of support during an incredibly challenging time.”

Henderson was seen in public for the first time since the fallout on Monday and was photographed leaving a beauty salon near her Sydney home.

While the future of the show remains uncertain, the fact that the pair will speak again suggests that the most dominant partnership on Australian radio may not have said goodbye for the last time.
