Baltimore police officer and suspect shot in active shooter incident

A Baltimore police officer and a suspect were shot Tuesday during what authorities described as an “active shooter incident” in Baltimore.
Police said the incident occurred at 6200 Park Heights Boulevard in northwest Baltimore.
“An officer was shot and was transported to Shock Trauma,” a post on Baltimore Police X read. he said. “A suspect was also shot. Avoid surrounding areas. More information will be provided as it becomes available.”

Initial reports indicated that there was a synagogue in the area where the attack took place, but it was unclear whether the incident was related. Reached by Fox News Digital, Balitmore police said, “This is NOT a synagogue or religious institution.”
