Melissa Joan Hart calls ocean bikini shot her new Instagram profile pic

Melissa Joan Hart found her “new profile picture.”

The 49-year-old actress shared a photo on Instagram of herself posing on the beach in a strapless blue bikini with the ocean behind her.

She paired the look with a matching blue shawl that she tied around her waist and posed with one arm on her hip and the other above her head.

Fans in the comments section couldn’t stop complimenting the actress, with one dubbing her a “Natural Beauty”.

“A truly natural and beautiful woman 😍,” another fan wrote. A third agreed: “So far this is the best thing I’ve seen today.”

Hart broke into Hollywood at a young age, appearing in a number of commercials and making guest appearances on television, before breaking out in 1991 at the age of 15 with her breakout role in Nickelodeon’s “Clarissa Explains It All.”

Following her time at Nickelodeon, Hart found major success on “Sabrina the Teenage Witch,” which she starred in for seven seasons from 1996 to 2003.

Appearing on the “Pod Meets World” podcast in August 2023, Hart shared that she almost lost her job on the TV series “Sabrina the Teenage Witch” because she posed in her underwear in Maxim magazine, and said that she got the call at the premiere of the movie “Drive Me Crazy.”

“While I was at the party, my lawyer came and said, ‘Did you do a photo shoot for Maxim magazine?'” Hart said. he said. he explained. “I said, ‘Yes, I did.’ They say, ‘Well, you got sued and fired from the show, so don’t talk to the press, don’t do anything.'”

Hart was accused of violating the contract, which stated that the character of Sabrina would never appear naked or in any way that implied nudity, and the magazine cover featured Hart in her underwear with the headline “Sabrina, your favorite witch, seamless.”

Hart was able to continue his work on the series after it became clear that he had no knowledge that Maxim planned to use the popular character’s name and had no control over the publication’s editorial decisions.

Although he called receiving the news “the worst day of my life” while speaking on the podcast, he reflected on the difficult period of his life in a September 2023 interview with Fox News Digital and said he did not regret taking the shot.

“In retrospect, everything… is in the rearview mirror. Everything seems a little further away,” he told Fox News Digital as he recalled the chaotic time.

“What felt like panic at the time, you know, my career being over and all this terrible stuff, turns into really good press around a movie that I started. That was kind of a bonus in a way.”
