Hey AirPods users, you can soon beta-test new features coming this fall

In the midst of the chaos and excitement of an Apple activity, one or two interesting announcements will usually fall from cracks and not reported. Of course, a WWDC25 news item that affects AirPods has only been noticed and can make a big difference for the user experience.
As determined by Macrumors, Apple’s press release for new features that come to AirPods this fall includes a silent surprise under the page: “All of these features can be used for the test starting through the Apple Developer Program… And next month is a public beta.
This is new. For most of Apple’s operating systems (iPados, macOS, watchos, tvos) updates, the company offers only pre -release beta test versions for developers, for the trial of the general public by Betas. However, AirPods product software updates have never been public before until it starts. This year, AirPods are confirmed as it is confirmed by the inclusion of Apple’s Beta test site in front page Verbiage.
The average Airpods software update is not likely to show great interest from the public. Somehow, they tend to be dull at the same time (usually if there are new features and focus more on error fixes) and mysterious (Apple’s version notes are extraordinarily informative). However, the annual new versions are different. For example, this year’s version includes two different new features that Apple is willing to introduce, Studio quality sound recording and camera remote control. Therefore, the company can finally decide to allow public beta tests.
Although the developer beta of the update is already available, the public beta will now appear in July. Betas and non -experienced readers should be warned that these software may be buggy and that they may not work as they are made: detecting errors is what the beta test program is about. However, this means that they have made a significant difference to you before the launch of the new features, and that you have a chance to boast of usually to be in front of the curve.
If you like something you like, sign up for Apple’s beta test program.
