Centre asks states to link their employment-oriented schemes with the objectives of ELI

Minister of Labor and Employment, Mansukh Mandaviya, called on the employment -oriented plans to tie the employment -oriented plans with the objectives of the employment -related incentive (EL) plan and actively encourages the El scheme that came into force as of August 1st.

Mandaviya, who chaired a high -level virtual meeting with the Labor and Industrial State Ministers, researched the cooperative strategies required to efficient the implementation methods and employment -related incentives (ELI) plan.

Mandaviya, referring to the Klems data published by the Indian Reserve Bank (RBI), which shows that more than 170 million employment opportunities have been provided in India, said that this is a reflection of important economic progress made by the country due to solid growth in sectors such as construction, manufacturing and services.


“This momentum should be continued and accelerated further through plans such as creating quality works such as hand, deepening officialization and supporting the inclusive development, Manda Mandaviya added that the same coin of labor and industry should be easier for the business of the country. Emphasizing the importance of comprehensive planning and awareness at the base level, Mandaviya emphasized that states may consider associating employment -oriented plans with their goals.

The Union’s Cabinet recently approved the 99,446 RS Crore Hand plan to be implemented through the Order of the Specialization Fund Organization of the Employees (EPFO). The aim of the program is to create more than 35 million work throughout the country for a period of two years.

A statement published by the Ministry of Labor and Employment, Gujarat, Assem, Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Arunaçhal Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Jharkhand and several other states that the labor and industrial ministers appreciate the initiative and ensure that they provide full cooperation in relevant regions.

“State ministers suggested that special events, awareness programs and conferences can be arranged at the regional level in cooperation with state governments in order to spread comprehensive information about the plan, to encourage the adoption and to reach the base level and the last miles beneficiaries.”
