Iran war LIVE Trump makes ‘watch what happens’ threat to Middle East | World | News

As the Middle East continues to burn, President Donald Trump made a chilling threat today (Friday, March 13) to ‘watch what happens’.

The strong message comes as the leader reiterated that the US was in control and ‘won’ the war.

In Trump’s latest post on his social media platform, it is claimed that the USA has “unparalleled firepower, unlimited ammunition and plenty of time.”

The message came after a US refueling plane, part of the operation against Iran, crashed in western Iraq. US Central Command said rescue efforts were continuing and a second plane was involved. It was also stated that the accident was not related to enemy fire or friendly fire.

The US Treasury also temporarily lifted sanctions on Russian oil currently at sea in an effort to ease rising crude oil prices amid the Iran war. The exemptions announced Thursday evening are planned to remain in effect until April 11.
