Half-Day Schools in AP From March 16

Vijayawada: The Andhra Pradesh government has announced that half-day schools will be opened across the state from March 16.
V. Vijay Rama Raju, director of school education, issued a notification directing schools to implement half-day classes by the end of the academic year due to rising temperatures.
Accordingly, classes I to X will be held from 7.45 to 12.30 in the morning. The scheme will be applicable to all schools in the state, including government, zilla district, municipal, aided and privately recognized unaided institutions.
The lunch program will continue during this period to ensure that students receive the necessary nutrition.
