Alleging that the wrong decisions of the BJP-led Union government led to shortage of LPG cylinders in the country, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister and DMK president MK Stalin on Sunday (March 15, 2026) said that the Union Government should come forward to solve the problem.
Mr Stalin, in a social media post, claimed that the shortage of gas cylinders was due to “wrong decisions” of the BJP-led Union government, which, according to him, had earned a reputation as a “model of failure” in the country’s foreign policy.
“There is no vision. No measures have been taken. The people are facing difficulties because of these,” Mr. Stalin accused. The DMK President pointed out that political parties in the Secular Progressive Alliance held demonstrations on this issue on Sunday.
“The Union government should realize the people’s anger and come forward to resolve the problem,” Mr. Stalin said.
