Brooklyn Beckham takes another brutal swipe at mum Victoria by sharing a late birthday tribute to ‘the best mother-in-law’ Claudia Peltz – as Britain celebrates Mothering Sunday

As Victoria Beckham celebrated British Mother’s Day on Sunday, she woke up to yet another painful reminder of her ongoing estrangement from her eldest son, Brooklyn.
While kids across the UK reward hard-working mums with cards, gifts and kind words, US-based Brooklyn has been busy paying tribute to another special woman – her mother-in-law.
The cooking influencer was on hand to celebrate former model Claudia Heffner Peltz’s 71st birthday with her actress wife Nicola on Saturday evening, and she wasted no time in posting a tribute on social media.
Brooklyn, 27, shared a photo of herself with Claudia and Nicola on Instagram just hours before the start of Britain’s Mother’s Day. Claudia’s birthday fell on March 12.
She captioned the post: ‘Happy birthday to the best mother-in-law. ‘I love you so much and I hope you had the most amazing day.’
This seemed a particularly deliberate move, given that most of those celebrating Mother’s Day in the UK were on duty and Claudia’s birthday was three days earlier.

Brooklyn has yet to post to celebrate Mother’s Day amid the feud.
He has become close to Nicola’s parents and spent last Christmas celebrating with them, including his brother Bradley.
It came after he was said to have been ‘disheartened’ by his parents publicly wishing him a happy birthday and breaking their contact agreement.
Victoria and David’s eldest son turned 27 earlier this month and criticized ‘performative posts’ containing loving messages, according to reports.
An insider tells ET that Brooklyn wants to stop her parents’ attempts to contact her, including on social media, following their bitter argument.
Victoria, 51, David, 50, and their brothers Romeo, 23, and Cruz, 21, shared heartfelt posts honoring Brooklyn’s birthday, but they seemingly went unappreciated.
A source told the publication: ‘Brooklyn and Nicola are left disheartened that they chose to make public Instagram posts for her birthday.
‘These are the kinds of public actions that Brooklyn is trying in vain to put an end to.
‘Last summer they published a legal letter to their parents requesting that all correspondence be through lawyers.’
Brooklyn spent the day with Nicola, who shared a video of her husband blowing out the candles on a box of donuts.
Pushing aside his family’s olive branch, the aspiring chef only took to Instagram during the day to thank his wife for the gushing social media post.

After her parents tried to build bridges by sharing a series of birthday celebrations, she was given another opportunity to reconnect with her estranged family.
But while he didn’t mind their throwback throwback photos, birthday messages and repeated use of his affectionate nickname Buster, he wasted no time in responding to Nicola.
The latest reports suggest that Brooklyn is on good terms with his grandfather Ted and his wife Hilary, despite being estranged from his parents. He was reportedly in regular contact with them.
Brooklyn, who currently lives in the United States with his wife, recently expressed his desire to get away from his family in a six-page Instagram statement full of lurid allegations.
Addressing her social media followers in January, she claimed that her parents were trying to sabotage her marriage and had always prioritized public branding over family relationships.
‘My entire life, my family has controlled the media narratives about my family,’ he wrote.
‘Performant social media posts, family events and inauthentic relationships were fixtures of the life I was born into.’
He added: ‘Recently, I have seen with my own eyes how far they will go to spread countless lies in the media, often at the expense of innocent people, in order to protect their own image. But I believe the truth always comes out.’
