“Under the Congress government, around ₹150 crore was spent annually on health, and under the BJP government, the health budget in Assam increased to around ₹9,000 crore.” he said. Targeting Gandhi over protests by Congress workers during the AI summit in Delhi, Shah alleged that the Opposition leader was targeting the country while opposing the BJP. Expressing confidence in the BJP’s prospects in Assam, Shah said the NDA will secure its “biggest mandate ever” in the state.
