Woman charged with murdering baby girl after newborn fell from height | UK | News

A mother was accused of killing her baby girl after she fell from a residence.

The Metropolitan Police said officers attended Horseferry Road in Westminster, central London, following reports that a baby had fallen from a height on Saturday morning.

It was announced that the 18-day-old baby died in the hospital where he was taken. Zahira Byjaouane, 43, of Horseferry Road, was charged with murder and remanded in custody. He will appear at Westminster Magistrates’ Court on Monday.

Flowers and a stuffed animal were left near the Peabody Mansion building, where the police cordon was lifted on Sunday morning.
