Walkers crisps launches urgent recall over ‘health risk’ | UK | News

Major crisps brand Walkers has announced the recall of some packs that were found to contain a substance potentially harmful to people with certain allergies. The company is recalling Walkers Hot Honey Crisps 6-packs because some may mistakenly contain Light Cheese and Onion seasoning (including milk, which is not listed on the package). The Food Standards Agency (FSA) issued an alert on Sunday, urging consumers to return affected chips for a refund.
The statement said: “This product may contain milk and may pose a possible health risk to people who are allergic to milk or intolerant to milk or milk ingredients.” The product in question is a pack of 6 x 25 g with batch code GBB 584 031 and an expiry date of 16 May 2026. EssexLive reports.
