A fuel depot was hit in a drone attack near Dubai International, causing authorities to temporarily suspend flights.
Emirates’ information shows that passengers will be transferred by air to Dubai international.
Following the attack, the airline made a statement: “All flights to and from Dubai have been temporarily suspended.”
It warned passengers not to go to the airport and said, “We thank our customers for their understanding and patience.”
The airline has been contacted for comment.
The incident is the third to occur at Dubai airport, one of the world’s busiest international travel hubs, since Iran began its attacks on Gulf countries on February 28.
Dubai has become an increasingly popular stopover point for travelers traveling between Australia and Europe in recent years.
At the start of the war, more than 10,000 Australians were stranded in transit.
