Five taken to hospital after 15-vehicle crash on M73 in Scotland

Many people were injured when 15 vehicles collided on a motorway in Scotland.

The Scottish ambulance service said: Independent: “We received a call to attend a multi-vehicle road traffic collision at Junction 2A on the M73 at 11.21pm on Sunday 15 March.

“We sent 6 ambulances and 2 special operations response teams (SORT) to the scene.

“We transferred two patients to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital, two patients to the Royal Children’s Hospital and one patient to Glasgow Royal Infirmary.”

The other 3 injured were treated at the scene and discharged.
