Katie Price insisted she is “healthy” after Susanna Reid admitted she was “concerned about her weight” on Monday’s episode of Good Morning Britain.

The former glamor model, 47, appeared on the ITV show to chat to presenters Susanna, 55, and Ed Balls, 59, about her recent marriage to Lee Andrews.

After asking the mother of five about her new man, Katie’s weight came up in the conversation after many fans shared their concerns about her body.

Back in January, Katie told fans she was seeking medical attention as she reacted to “skinny” photos.

Susanna said: ‘Katie, can I ask because I’m worried about your weight? You’re very, very, very weak.’

Katie replied: ‘Yes and I’m glad you asked!’

‘Now people are asking: Is it because you’re overusing weight loss pills or are you at a healthy weight? Have you determined this?’ Susanna asked.

In her response, Katie updated fans on her health condition, saying: ‘People who follow me online will know I’ve lost weight.

‘I am aware that I have lost weight. I look so skinny, I look skinny.

‘I went to the doctors to find out why I was losing it, I did all the blood tests, even the poop test.’

Susanna asked: ‘Doctor says you’re fine?’

Katie explained: ‘I told them, everyone said I was in Ozempic, they said in your blood we can tell you’re not.’

‘I have iron deficiency, now they are checking the other part.

‘I’m going through pre-menopause right now too.’

Katie told the hosts: 'I told them, everyone said I was in Ozempic, they said we can tell you're not in your blood'

He added: ‘I’m healthy so no one should worry about me.’

Susanna said: ‘You are healthy and happy.’

‘Yes, I’m very happy,’ Katie replied.

In January, fans pleaded for Katie to get help after she was photographed looking ‘alarmingly skinny’ as she reunited with her 18-year-old daughter Princess Andre on a shopping trip.

Speaking on the Katie Price Show, Katie revealed to her sister Sophie that she was going to see doctors about her weight loss.

Reacting to the photos, Katie said: ‘I know I look weak, I look sick; So I’m going to the doctor tomorrow.’

‘I don’t know how many times I have to tell people, ‘Yes, I know I’m losing weight’ and obviously there’s a reason, which I told the doctor. ‘We all know we’re trying to figure everything out and as soon as we find out I’ll let everyone know.’

Elsewhere in the interview, Katie He hits back at ‘disrespectful’ critics as he appears on GMB for a tell-all chat about her new marriage.

Katie married the businessman at the One&Only Royal Mirage hotel in Dubai in January, leaving her family, including her mother Amy Price, ‘traumatized’ and leaving fans worried she ‘didn’t know’ who she was marrying.

But the media personality appeared on the ITV daytime show to respond to critics, insisting she was ‘happy’ and could ‘make her own decisions’.

Susanna opened the conversation by admitting that she would be ‘worried’ if she was her friend, knowing that she had married a man she had just met, and explained: ‘If you were my friend… I think I would be worried about you.

‘I’m not sure you’ve had time to get to know the person you’re married to, so why this hurricane?’

Responding to the presenter, Katie began: ‘Do you really know anyone? If you look at my past marriages, did I ever know they would turn out like this? Sometimes I don’t think you can know who someone is…

‘For me, I’ve been in very, very different relationships and I’ve normally moved from one to the other… before I was always in toxic, coercive, controlling, mentally abusive, physically abusive relationships.

‘I know the red flags and all that now, I’m older now, I can make my own decisions and there’s nothing to say that you have to wait for anything.

‘It’s hard for everyone to understand. It feels so right, I’ve only been in love twice before this, with Dane Bowers and Peter [Andre].

‘With Lee, it’s so different from any other relationship and it works for me.’

She also insisted that her husband Lee had a PhD from a ‘Spanish university’, while pushing back against Cambridge University claims.

Since announcing their marriage, Lee has been accused of being a ‘hustler’ amid many boasts about his life, including saying he is a millionaire businessman with a PhD from the University of Cambridge and has links to Elon Musk.

Last week, he also posted on Instagram about being a “future trillionaire,” a “mystery income earner” and a member of the “1%,” to make more claims about his life.

Katie has previously hit back at criticism by saying she is “not a catfisher or a scammer”. Sun: ‘I didn’t go to a scammer… please be happy for me.’

He even told fans that he had seen proof of his university degree and doctorate, saying: ‘There was so much paperwork, it was like his doctorate was in a file.

‘I took a good look at everything, because the flakes, some of them are like polished and you can’t, you know what I mean? You can’t fake it.

‘You know, when you have certificates and it’s like watermarks inside them, they’re all like that. Everything he shows me is so legal, I’m not stupid. These are not copies, they are originals.’

However, claims that Lee attended Cambridge were debunked by the publication, with the university’s Department of Chemical Engineering and Biotechnology saying it “could find no record of Lee being registered as a student.”

However, while appearing on GMB, Katie, 47, insisted Lee had a PhD and told presenters Susanna, 55, and Ed, 59, that he was from a ‘Spanish’ university instead.

Ed began: ‘His passport says he’s a doctor, he’s said to have a PhD from Cambridge, but Cambridge University said they’d never heard of him.’

Katie replied: ‘He doesn’t have a PhD from Cambridge, he has a PhD in Spain.

‘It’s for him to say that he got his PhD, but it’s not from Cambridge, I don’t know where that comes from, he doesn’t have a PhD from Cambridge but he has a PhD.

‘I saw everything I needed to see; ‘His diplomatic passport has Doctor Lee Andrews, his regular passport has Wesley Lee Andrews.’

Katie is proud of Dwight Yorke, Junior, Princess from her marriage to Peter Andre, and Jett, whom she shares with Kieran Hayler, and Harvey, whom she shares with Bunny.

The boys did not meet Lee, but they did talk to him over FaceTime.

Susanna asked him: ‘Do you think this is enough?’

Katie replied: ‘No, as if there was never enough. I won’t be introducing him to the kids yet because I want to get to know him more myself.

‘And I think what everyone doesn’t understand is why I married him so quickly.

‘I was there. We got engaged. And that felt right to me, so why don’t you get married?’

Katie has also been married four times but admitted in the interview that she has only been in love twice.

‘It feels so right [their relationship]I’ve only fallen in love twice before this.

‘These were Dane Bowers and Pete.’

Katie was previously married to Peter between 2005 and 2009.

She was married to Alex Reid from 2010 to 2011 and to Kieran Hayler from 2013 to 2021.

Good Morning Britain airs weekdays from 6am on ITV.
