M25 motorists faced traffic chaos at rush hour this evening following a major crash involving two lorries. The vehicles collided on a counter-clockwise stretch of Britain’s busiest motorway at junction 30 near Lakeside Shopping Center in Essex.

National Highways East said the crash caused “serious damage” and “a full recovery is required” and warned drivers faced “long delays” during the rush hour period returning to Kent via the Dartford Tunnel.
