In an article in X, Jaishankar called President Xi Jinping this morning with SCO Foreign Ministers in Beijing. President Droupadi Murmu and Prime Minister @Narendramodi conveyed greetings.
Jaishankar has an official visit to China to attend the SCO Foreign Ministers meeting. On Monday, Jaishankar held a meeting with the Chinese counterpart Wang and needed a distant approach to binary ties and established a stable and constructive relationship.
In an article on X, Jaishankar said, “Tonight he had detailed talks with Politburo member in Beijing and FM Wang. He needed a distant approach to binary bonds and established a stable and constructive relationship.”
“We are in charge of dealing with boundary issues, normalizing shopping to people and avoiding restrictive trade measures and obstacles. Mutual respect, mutual interest and mutual sensitivity, vineyards may develop. Tomorrow, we look forward to participating in meetings in Tianjin.
He also met Han Zheng in Beijing in Beijing on Monday and recorded the recovery in binary vineyards. Jaishankar expressed his confidence that the discussions will continue this positive orbit during his visit. He expressed his support for China’s presidency of China’s Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO).
“Shortly after coming to Beijing with Vice President Han Zheng, I was pleased to meet Han Zheng. He conveyed India’s support to China’s SCO presidency. He recorded the recovery in our binary ties.
Jaishankar came to China after visiting Singapore. This is the first visit of the Foreign Minister to China, because in 2020, after the deadly military conflict in Galwan, relations emerged.
Jaishankar’s visit is following the visits of Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, who traveled to China in June for SCO meetings, and Ajit Doval, the National Security Advisor. Wang Yi is expected to meet NSA Ajit Doval, a part of a dialogue round planned under the mechanism of Special Representatives (SR) aiming to visit India next month and solve decimal border disputes.
The stopping of the 2020 Galwan Valley between India and China has been the worst border conflict for more than 40 years, which resulted in the death of soldiers on both sides. The incident increased the tensions sharply and brought dual ties in a historical low.
The decision to revive the Dialogue of the SR and other still channels was reported to have been reported between PM Modi and President Xi Jinping in October last year in Kazan, Russia, during a short change. The positive movement has a few gleams, especially the restart of Kailash Mansarovar Yatra after about five years.
