The ruling DMK and CPI finalized the seat-sharing agreement for the Tamil Nadu Assembly elections on Wednesday, March 18, 2026, with the latter being allotted five seats. The agreement was signed by DMK president and Chief Minister MK Stalin and CPI State Secretary M. Veerapandian at DMK headquarters Anna Arivalayam in Chennai.
