It was reported that the Ras Laffan oil refinery in Qatar was attacked in an Iranian missile attack. “Emergency response teams were immediately deployed to contain the resulting fires as extensive damage was caused,” QatarEnergy wrote on social media.

In the statement, it was stated that the condition of all personnel is clear and there is no loss of life at this time. Ras Laffan is home to a refinery that Iranian state media has previously said was a target and had to be evacuated. The oil refinery, one of the world’s leading LNG production facilities, became the center of attention after Iran threatened retaliation.
