Reports of injuries after light plane crash near Broome
Several people are believed to have been involved in the light aircraft crash off the Broome coast on Thursday morning.
The plane is understood to have crashed in the Roebuck area near Crab Creek Road just after 11 a.m. on Thursday.
St John WA said they responded to the incident and are believed to be responding to a number of injuries suffered by several patients.
Multiple teams are on the way, as well as emergency services and police.
The area where the plane is thought to have crashed is 15 kilometers east of the district center and is surrounded by bushes and mangrove trees along the coast.
There are currently unconfirmed reports that the accident occurred at least partially in water.
The Australian Transport Safety Bureau has been contacted for comment.
