Russia brutally mocks ‘insane’ Trump over Iran war crisis – ‘He’s lost his mind’ | World | News

Russian newspapers targeted US President Donald Trump and published news criticizing his attacks in Iran for days.

The US President launched his first round of attacks on February 28, killing Iran’s supreme leader Ali Khamenei as well as a number of senior officials.

Since then, while the USA has continued its attacks, Iran has retaliated by attacking neighboring Gulf countries.

This week, Tehran forces targeted a number of oil refineries, including Ras Laffan in Qatar, raising international fears of an oil crisis.

A newspaper in Russia claimed that Trump “lost his mind”.

Translated by: BBC Russia Editor Steve RosenbergA Moscow newspaper said last week: “The ‘peace president’ has lost his mind. The emperor has no clothes, or rather no sanity.”

This week, Russian broadcaster Kommersant reported: “Trump wanted to strangle Tehran, but he put the noose around his own neck.” Some other Russian media outlets were also mocking the American leader’s Middle East strategy.

The same newspaper also noted that Trump “tried to ‘strangle’ officials in Tehran, but instead tightened the noose around his own neck and even around countries that had nothing to do with the US attack on Iran.”

But Mr. Trump showed no signs of backing down. On Wednesday, Iran threatened to “massively blow up” the oil field.
