Stamos told Us Weekly last summer that he wanted to “play it a little more realistic” with his career choices, saying, “I’m looking for my ‘Breaking Bad’.”

Stamos described his role in “Drag” as “perhaps one of the darkest, weirdest roles I’ve ever taken on.”

He said he can acknowledge his enduring connection to “Full House” because of projects like “Drag” and his role as a lawyer/gynecologist in Kristen Wiig’s “Palm Royale” “because I’m not just that. I’ve proven to myself that I can do other things, too. It doesn’t really matter if people see the other things.”

Stamos will also appear in the second season of the Netflix drama “The Hunting Wives.”

“I’m at this stage of my career where I’m looking for really challenging, different roles,” Stamos recently told People.

He described “Hunting Wives” as a little “darker” than it’s known for.

“Like I said, I might have a little bit more of it than other players, at least for a little while — until things like, ‘Oh, that’s Stamos’ come along,” he added.
