“You look at the stance rule and how it is implemented now.

“Teams are now working on how to unlock that by playing a little stronger offensively – especially the Bulldogs, who are really strong in that area.

“But I don’t know if this is a shooting like that. We’re not looking for that.”

“If it opens up and we score as many goals as they do, that’s great, let’s have fun.

“But I think it will be dangerous against the Bulldogs because they have so many weapons.”

The Crows and Hounds arguably boast the best power forwards in the league; Riley Thilthorpe on one side, Sam Darcy on the other.

And both captains are game-changing midfielders; Adelaide’s Jordan Dawson and the Bulldogs’ Marcus Bontempelli.

But Nicks expanded on her thoughts when asked what concerns her most about Dogs.

“Where do you start?” he said.

“First of all, they are in rare form. They will be a team in form in the league and can have really strong weeks against a quality opponent.

“Difficulty is everywhere.

“We’re playing a team with Nick Daicos and a team with Marcus Bontempelli.

“They are much better than Bont but he is probably in one of the best forms we have seen. [there are] big challenges for us.”
