Search underway for mystery Gold Coast Lucky Lotteries winner yet to claim $100k prize after two months

A search is underway to find the mysterious Gold Coast Lucky Lotto winner sitting on over $100,000 in unclaimed prize money.

The prize winning entry was drawn in January this year and the winner has yet to come forward to claim their prize.

The Pines News and Gifts store in Elanora sold the lucky ticket, and store owner Anthony Milligan urged all customers to check their tickets.

“We tell all our customers to check their Lucky Lottery Super Jackpot tickets,” he said.

“Maybe the winner was on vacation and forgot to check their tickets.

“It’s always very exciting to sell a grand prize winning ticket, but we always hope the winner comes forward.”

The news and gift shop has sold four major award-winning works in the past decade.

“We hope the mystery winner checks his ticket as soon as possible and enjoys a great 2026,” Mr Milligan said.

“I’m sure it will be an unforgettable year.”

Lott spokeswoman Eliza Wregg said the mystery winner could enjoy a $100,000 windfall, but they should check their tickets.

“Imagine going two months without knowing you won $100,000 in the Lucky Lotteries,” he said.

“That’s real for a Gold Coast player.”

“Someone in the local area can get in on the early Easter treat, but they need to check their tickets and discover the winning scoop first.

“We encourage everyone who purchased tickets from The Pines News and Gifts to check their entry because they may be the mystery winner we are looking for.”

Ms Wregg urged people to check their homes and cars for unchecked lottery tickets that may be hiding in plain sight.
