Assam Prime Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma intensified a demographic allegations of change in the state on Tuesday, and argued that indigenous communities were under pressure because of what a “religion” described as a strategic rape by people. The Prime Minister, who addressed the media in Guwahati, claimed that these settlers were trying to change the demographic profile of different regions in order to gain political impact.
