Parliament Budget Session LIVE: FTA’s increased trade volume, but also increased trade deficit, says DMK member Arun Nehru

With the second leg of the Budget session of Parliament continuing today, Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman will introduce the Companies Laws (Amendment) Bill, 2026 to amend the Limited Liability Partnership Act, 2008 and the Companies Act, 2013.
According to the Backlog released by the Lok Sabha Secretary General, the Union Finance Minister will also recommend consideration of the Finance Bill 2026, which will give effect to the Central Government’s financial proposals for the financial year 2026-2027.
The proceedings of the ongoing second phase of the Budget Session of the Lok Sabha are scheduled to begin at 11 am today.
Meanwhile, several ministers, including Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, Jayant Chaudhary, Shobha Karandlaje, Kirit Vardhan Singh, Sukanta Majumdar and Harsh Malhotra, are scheduled to submit documents to the Parliament table.
