High Court directs Kerala government to extend last date for admission options in engineering courses of KTU from July 18 to August 2

The Supreme Court has directed the state government to extend the final date to offer students the options for entering engineering courses at the colleges of the University of APJ Abdul Kalam Technology (KTU) between 18 July and 2 August.

The entire Indian Technical Education Council said that the Council of the Council of India has approved to increase the seats for some existing courses and to start new courses. However, the university has not yet connected for newly approved seats and courses. Thus, the court directed the university to form inspection teams and to present audit reports until July 23rd. Based on reports, the university must decide on the connection until July 31st.
