Barry Keoghan has said he received so much abuse about his appearance that he had to “get away” from the world and stay at home.

She told US broadcaster SiriusXM: “There’s a lot of abuse about my appearance and it’s gotten to the point where it’s embarrassing me. It’s made me really turn inward and not want to attend certain places. I don’t want to go out. It’s becoming a problem.”
The actor, who has a son named Brando with ex-girlfriend Alyson Sandro, said it was “disappointing for the fans, but it’s also disappointing that my little boy has to read all of this when he grows up.”

Speaking to SiriusXM on Friday, Keoghan called hate messages “a sad way to pick apart someone’s appearance,” adding: “People can sit there and make a video and say, ‘I don’t like your face. It looks weird or it looks bad,’ and it can pick you apart.”
A TikTok video with over 150,000 likes asks the question: “Is anyone else super upset with Barry Keoghan’s face? It’s like it’s actually painful to look at his face. I get extremely uncomfortable when he moves/presence.”
