Savannah Guthrie speaks out for first time since mother’s kidnapping

“Today” host Savannah Guthrie said her family is in “anguish” in her first interview since her mother, Nancy, was taken from her Arizona home and reported missing Feb. 1.
“Someone has to do the right thing. We are suffering, we are suffering.” Guthrie tearfully told Co-host Hoda Kotb in a preview of the interview that will air throughout the week.
Nancy Guthrie’s case has been making headlines for weeks, but authorities have been unable to find her in the suspected kidnapping.
Her daughter described the situation as “unbearable.”
“And to think about what he’s been through. Every night, every night, I wake up in the middle of the night,” he told Kotb. “And in the dark I imagine its terror. And it is unthinkable, but these thoughts require thought. And I will not hide my face. But now it must come home.”
