Conservative commentator in a new Substack post on Thursday Erick Erickson burned Elon Musk It’s been in the X direction since Musk bought it in 2022 and gave it its current name the following year.

After listing three examples of anti-American and anti-Israeli propaganda circulating on the social media site, Erickson I thought about it:

Elon Musk took over Twitter, absurdly changing its name to the single letter of the alphabet most associated with pornography, shifting the algorithm away from the preferences of the Left, but then opening the door to the collapse of artificial intelligence, ever-increasing misinformation, and raging antisemitism. On a daily basis, accounts post AI-generated videos in an attempt to mislead people.

Tel Aviv has been destroyed by Iran two dozen times in the last four weeks, and anything that bothers the Left is genocide. Madness is rampant. People who want to obtain information are misled. Twitter is being exploited by monetized accounts seeking to profit from outrage and misinformation campaigns aimed at undermining war efforts against the world’s leading sponsor of terrorism.

“This in itself is troubling, but as we get closer to Holy Week something more problematic emerges: Many of the people pushing nonsense, anti-Semitism, conspiracies and lies are also chanting ‘Christ is King.’ Those who know would be better off keeping quiet, as they are assumed to be on the ‘right’ side,” he continued. “It harms Christian witnesses when influential people pose as Christians while pushing toxic antisemitism, conspiracy theories, misinformation, and lies. How does one believe the Bible shared by a believer?” Candace Owens conspiracy theory Charlie Kirk? How can someone believe in ‘American Christian’? Ethan Levins Am I going to cite the Bible when you spread disinformation online?”

“If a Christian truly believes that Jesus was resurrected, he or she needs to speak out against those who appropriate that belief for a political endeavor. Twitter is a special kind of hell, and those who spread conspiracy theories and say ‘Jesus is King’ will eventually discover the truth,” Erickson concluded.

Musk and X aren’t the only right-wing figures and institutions that have caught Erickson’s attention lately; Matt Schlapp, Steve BannonCPAC, TPUSA and pam bondi.
