Carville predicts Trump will resign after midterms and get a Vance pardon

Veteran Democratic strategist James Carville doubled down on his theory that President Trump will resign in disappointment after losing in the midterm elections.
Earlier this month, Carville wrote, “Trump Will Be Gone Sooner Than You Think!” He published a video titled.
He continued on Thursday with a video titled: ““Trump Will Be Afraid of the Presidency” appears to be a reference to the phrase “Trump Is Always Afraid”, which is often used to mock his half-measures in policy.
As Carville and “Political War Room” co-host Al Hunt took questions during the podcast, one listener said he would impeach Trump if politicians did their job.

Hunt politely rebuked the listener and encouraged him to “take the word ‘impeach’ out of his vocabulary,” warning that any discussion of impeachment was a distraction from which Trump ironically wants to be the focus of the national conversation.
Carville acknowledged this and argued that Trump would remove him from power.
“I’m going to talk about the possibility of resigning, because he doesn’t know how much his life is set to change after November,” Carville said.

“He will be president again” Carville said. “His power will gradually diminish.
“This guy has two years left. He’s lost all public opinion. He’s lost all of the Senate. He’s lost the House of Representatives. On the other side, lobbyists will start making deals.
“You’ve seen this a thousand times before. The guest list for every cocktail party will change for everything, the Christmas part is coming up and he’ll see it leak out,” he said, imagining a scenario in which it would take 72 hours for the German Chancellor to return his call.
“And I think the guy’s so soft, and it’s a terrible thing to get shot, like he’s going to get shot. I think he got J.D. Vance to forgive him, and I think there’s a good chance he’ll just say ‘s—‘ and walk away. ‘It’s not worth it. That’s the best thing I can do,'” Carville suggested. “I don’t think you’re strong enough to face this.”

Hunt acknowledged this, too, and speculated that if Trump did so, he would get some sort of deal from Vance to ensure he wouldn’t face prosecution after he left power.
Carville reiterated his claim, saying, “After he’s been where he is. I don’t think he’s physically or mentally capable of doing this, of resisting. I just think he’s fat, lazy, and worn out. And as long as he can see where he is, he can just walk away.”
“Donald, we didn’t really know you, but I’m sure we won’t miss you,” Hunt replied.
