Royal Family LIVE: Harry ‘would love’ official reunion with King | Royal | News

Prince Harry is reportedly hoping to be invited to the Sandringham estate this summer with his wife and two children to spend time with King Charles. The 41-year-old is said to be receptive to the idea of receiving an invitation to spend “family time” at his Norfolk mansion.
Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, now aged six and four, have not spent time with their paternal grandparents since June 2022. Meghan Markle has also not traveled to the UK since September 2022. The Duke of Sussex is said to be awaiting a decision regarding his safety in the UK and has repeatedly said it is not safe to bring his wife and children unless he is given armed police protection, The Sunday Times reported.
A friend of Harry’s said: “If he had been invited by the King, he would have received a security suite that would have been automatically activated. He would have asked for an invitation to Sandringham. Would he go? It depends on who is there. If the King said, ‘Come and spend some time with his family,’ he would be delighted. He always loves to see his father and would love to see him as much as possible.”
Speaking of security, they added: “There’s no world in which he can bring the children back unless he has an advanced security suite around them. If the King wants to see the children, all he has to do is invite them and it can happen… There are many scenarios that could make this work, but not all of them are in Harry’s hands. No father wants to put his children at risk.”
