IFC to up India investments 30% to $7 bn this fiscal, focus on local push, jobs

“In the last fiscal year (ended June 30, 2025), we closed about $5.4 billion in long-term financing in India. We have already closed about $5.2 billion in the first eight months of this year and aim to reach $7 billion by the end of June,” Suri said, adding that IFC aims to achieve $10 billion in long-term financing annually in India by 2030, a target that managing director Makhtar Diop had said when he visited India last year.
