‘My ex is a cannibal – I watched him eat slices of my skin’ | Weird | News

A woman who found herself in a relationship with a woman who described herself as a cannibal told how she watched him try to eat pieces of her own skin. The woman, who gave her name as Tatum, said the man drugged her, cut off a piece of meat from her leg and then started chewing on it.

Tatum says she first met her cannibal boyfriend in 2017, when she was 18. He was 22 at the time and a friend of a friend: “I didn’t know him personally, but I knew his face… then one night, wandering high as a kite through the city center where I lived, I saw him sitting in his car.

“I stumbled into his car, sat down and started chatting, and it all went on from there.”

She says she didn’t initially seem like the sexually adventurous person: “I was the one who wanted to try new kinks or try new things… but he was very neutral. He didn’t want to spice things up.”

“Looking back, I think it might have been because he had these thoughts and didn’t want to cross that line.”

Tatum said that for a long time the relationship was not very remarkable: “Everything was normal in our relationship,” he recalled. “We lived together, you know, we spent every day together; he would go to work, I would do other things, you know, watch TV at night, go on dates.”

But Tatum says everything changed on June 8, 2022. The night started as usual: “We were sitting on the bed watching a TV show and I was drinking Pepsi… I think she had spiked it and got me high. After about half an hour I started feeling pretty groggy and tired.”

He says he didn’t realize anything was wrong at the time and started to fall asleep. But in the middle of the night, her boyfriend did something truly disturbing.

“When I passed out, he put a black garbage bag under my leg and put a towel on top of it,” he said. Tatum describes how her boyfriend then took a razor and cut off a neat section of skin, approximately 6 inches by 3 inches, from her thigh.

Tatum was delirious from the sedative he gave her, but she can still remember the experience of having a piece of skin removed from her leg: “It was basically just the top layer of skin… but she had a bunch of paper towels when she did it, and she was taking her time with each little cut. She just kind of took it out and peeled it back, and she would dab each piece on the area so it wouldn’t bleed too much.”

“I don’t know if he thought I would wake up and it would be okay… but he made sure there wasn’t too much bleeding.”

Tatum slowly came to her senses as her boyfriend “tried to chew” the piece of meat as he sat next to her in bed: “He was sitting there with a piece of my skin in his hand, and he was sitting there chewing it and watching me sleep.”

“He was able to chew and swallow a few bites, but when I started coming to, there was still some left. I don’t remember exactly when.” [it was]but as I was coming back to consciousness I still remember being really dizzy and feeling sick and then feeling the pain and it was alternating between a dull ache and a really sharp, stinging pain.

For a while, Tatum thought he was having a particularly scary nightmare, but when he finally came to, his boyfriend stood up and left the apartment without a word.

Realizing he was seriously injured, Tatum went to hospital and shocked paramedics called the police: “The police found him walking down a nearby alley and quickly took him away. He hadn’t quite finished that part of my leg, so he put the rest in his pocket.”

The cause of the incident has never been fully clarified. In court, the defense team argued that the large scar left on Tatum’s hip was the result of self-harm, but they were unable to convince the jury and her cannibal ex-boyfriend was jailed. But he says he now lives in fear that one day he will be released and “probably do it again.”
